Safer Streets in Town Centre

With most of the town centre businesses and shops now open, it makes the changes around High Street and Market Street all the more important.
“The pedestrianised area makes social distancing easier and shopping a much more pleasant experience without cars”, says campaigning Lib Dem Councillor Alex Bourne.
The arrangements are a trial over the coming months and will be reviewed, consulting shops and shoppers alike. Let us know what you think!
