It’s clear the Conservatives have no answers for our NHS. It’s time for a change!
Doctors at our local surgeries and staff in hospitals are under enormous pressure this winter.
The Conservative Government has FAILED in its pledge to recruit enough doctors and nurses locally and in our hospitals, creating record waiting lists, delays to operations and real pressure on local GP appointments.
In the last few weeks, a number of GP surgeries have gone into 'emergencies only', including St Andrews in Central Eastleigh, while others have suspended e-consult. Senior doctors claim that Christmas 2022 has been the most difficult on record for out-of-hours GP services.
Bold promises to build more hospitals and increase spending on health services by the Conservatives in 2019 have come to nothing. While the government refuses to lift a finger, nurses and doctors are expected to work in understaffed and underfunded environments, but are expected to deliver the same level of patient care.
