On Tuesday (8th December) Tim Farron introduced a Bill to Parliament to offer save haven to 3,000 unaccompanied refugee children from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Eritrea displaced by conflict and present within the European Union.The full text of his speech is below.

Mike Thornton has raised fears that elderly residents will be left cut off after Conservative County Council axed free older person’s bus travel between 9am and 9.30am.
Over the recent months, some local residents have been in touch regarding the National Health Service and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), so I wanted to clarify my position.
Only the Liberal Democrats will give the NHS the funds that doctors have asked for. Our manifesto plans include £8bn a year by 2020 for the NHS, with £3.5bn dedicated to improving mental health services.
