Local residents are calling for Hampshire County Council to reduce the speed limit on Kings Copse Avenue to 30mph to improve safety - and we agree!
Residents have been in touch worried about the increase in volume and speed of vehicles using the road and are concerned about possible future accidents.
They say they are especially worried as many parents walk their children to and from school across this busy road, which has two school crossing patrols, as well as a bridle path route used by pedestrians and horse riders too.
Cllr Rupert Kyrle says, “we have asked Hampshire County Council a number of times to reduce the speed limit on this road to 30mph. They have FAILED to help”.
