Hedge End Liberal Democrats

Recent Liberal Democrat successes in Hedge End include:

• Ensured that our greenfields are protected from housing developments, in particular areas that are under threat such as in Grange Park north of the railway line, the entrance to Botleigh Grange Hotel, Heath House Lane/Pylands Lane and Upper Northam Drive.

• Installed CCTV cameras and help points in Hedge End town centre, allowing residents and visitors to feel safe and secure.

• Invested in new community buildings, such as the 2000 Centre and the new youth centre in Wildern Lane.

Hedge End is the second largest town in Eastleigh Constituency and is made up of three wards on the Borough Council - Grange Park, St. John's and Wildern. It is one of the Liberal Democrats' strongest areas, all 7 Borough councillors are Liberal Democrats as well as the 2 County Councillors who represent the area. Hedge End Town Council is also Liberal Democrat-led.
