Liberal Democrat successes in this area include:

• The development of Hamble Community Sports College, with a new gymnasium currently under construction which will bring world-class sports facilities to the Hamble Peninsula.

• Ensured that our greenfields are protected from housing developments, in particular areas that were under threat such as Hound Corner, Hamble Airfield, fields near Broadway and Aerostructures Playing Field.

• Worked with residents, local businesses and the parish council on a plan to smarten up the centre of Hamble village, including new paving, removing street clutter and putting overhead cables underground.
