MP Mike Thornton visited VTCT, a Government approved awarding organisation, that's helping to provide training for apprenticeships.

The organisation specialise in awarding qualifications for the hairdressing and beauty sector, and are based in Eastleigh at their head office in Prysmian House, off Dew Lane.

VTCT offer a range of qualifications to support Apprenticeship frameworks across many sectors, and Mike got the chance to meet some of the apprentices training at the site, and chat with them about their experiences.

The MP also met the company's CEO Dr Stephen Vickers and Director of Business Development Nic Robinson to learn more about the organisation and the initiatives they are involved with.
