Local residents have reacted with anger at news that a big builder is trying to push ahead with plans that would force hundreds of extra cars onto Hamble Lane every day.
Hallam Land Management want to build on all the land at Hound Corner, opposite Broadway and across open fields behind Hound Road and Hound Road Gardens.
The greedy developer wants to build 225 houses, a 60-bed care home and 40 extra care units along with a shop and big car park for the station.

The Lib Dems at Eastleigh have given our area its best planning protection for fifty years. We don’t want big builders only interested in their profits to wreck it!
Hamble's County Councillor Keith House said:
"We don't want big builders riding roughshod over local people. Get involved TODAY to save our area from even more traffic and protect the gaps between our villages."
