The speculative developer that wanted to build up to 250 houses on land next to The Roll Call, at the junction of Grange Road and Woolston Road, has withdrawn from a further appeal on the site.

Your Lib Dem Council team had already won one appeal on the site.  The developer had been trying to wear the Council down with a second appeal.

“This is the latest planning success for our team and our local community”, says Cllr Lizette van Niekerk.

“This developer finally accepted that the Council’s ‘gap’ policies have continued strength and that the Council has allocated enough land that will be built out over the next five years, meeting government targets”.
